Main Uses:


1. Flavor and Fragrance: A spice with a slight cinnamon flavor, used as a blending ingredient in apple, cherry, fruit, and floral fragrances, offering excellent fragrance retention. It is also commonly used as a fixative in fragrances.


2. Daily Chemical Products: Can be used as an aromatic mixture in soaps, shampoos, laundry detergents, and daily cosmetics.


3. Food Additive: Can be used as a fixative and spice in foods; the preservative and bactericidal effects of cinnamic acid can be used for the preservation and freshness of foods, vegetables, and fruits. It is also a major raw material for the sweetener Aspartame.


4. Pharmaceutical Industry: Can be used to synthesize important drugs for treating coronary heart disease such as Lactate Heartin and Xin Tong Ping, and to synthesize Chlorphenesin Carbamate and Cinnarizine, used in making "Xin Ke An", local anesthetics, bactericides, hemostatics, etc. It can also synthesize Chlorphenesin Carbamate and Cinnarizine, used as spinal skeletal muscle relaxants and antispasmodics. Mainly used for cerebral thrombosis, cerebral arteriosclerosis, coronary arteriosclerosis, and other conditions. It has a significant inhibitory effect on the proliferation of lung adenocarcinoma cells. Cinnamic acid is an effective inhibitor of A-5491 human lung adenocarcinoma cells, with great application value in anticancer.


5. Cinnamic acid has the effect of inhibiting the formation of tyrosinase, has a certain blocking effect on ultraviolet rays, can lighten or even eliminate brown spots, and is an essential ingredient in high-end sunscreens.


6. Organic Chemical Synthesis: Can be used as a retarder for galvanized sheets, a heat stabilizer for polyvinyl chloride, a crosslinking agent for polyurethane, a flame retardant for polycaprolactam, the main synthetic raw material for negative photoresist resins, and chemical analysis reagents.
